Michael obtained his Master of Philosophy (Pharmacy) from the University of Sydney in the field of drug delivery by inhalation in 2016. Specifically, his research investigated the effect of the additive material, magnesium stearate, on the aerosol performance of dry powder formulation.
Michael’s current project is to investigate the role of the protein corona on the drug release of poorly soluble drugs across the blood-brain barrier for the treatment of Alzheimer’s disease.
His interest is in the field of drug formulation, targeted drug delivery, and general pharmaceutical sciences.
